Hi, my name is Alexandra, but most people call me Lexi (you are free to do so too!). I am a certified dog behavior consultant and also hold a PhD in neuroscience.
I’ve spent over a decade in academic research, and have published numerous scientific articles on different aspects of brain development, including olfaction, neurogenesis, and memory formation. Science has always been and remains my passion, which is why I am eager to bring more of it into the dog training world.
I believe science is one of the most powerful tools we have for making informed decisions. Therefore, science should be accessible to everyone! This is why I am passionate about sharing my knowledge in a way that helps people build a clear, solid understanding of scientific principles and emancipates them to build their own opinions on important matters.
Since a few years, I work as a dog behavior consultant, supporting curious and dedicated humans like you from all over the world in their daily lives with their dogs. I don’t aim to create obedient dogs. Rather, I help build secure, trusting relationships that make control unnecessary and restore balance through communication, respect, and science-based knowledge.
Above all, I offer a safe space for learning and growth, free from judgment (for both, humans and canines!). We’ve all made mistakes at some point, and we’ll make more. This is the beautiful, and sometimes frustrating, process of learning. What matters is the willingness to grow. That mindset is at the heart of everything I do.

SCIENCE
Because science is the best way to educate ourselves about dogs as a species, how they are different from us and what we share with them.

COMMUNICATION
Because communication is the single most powerful tool to create trust and cooperation.

RESPECT
Because respect reminds us that cooperation doesn't mean compliance and that each individual functions on their own, unique terms.
If this approach resonates with you, I invite you to schedule a free 20 min. call with me to get to know each other and discuss briefly how I could help you!
